Plenty of people on here wanted this over-rated freelaoder, which says a lot.

To say Real Madrid are a joke club is ridiculous though, I'm sure it was tongue in cheek.

Sven

An interesting description that could equally apply to a number of other clubs.

They have done the rounds of the 'elite' big managers .... Mourinho , Ancelotti , Pellegrini etc so now they are trying the 'pluck someone from the ranks and hope he becomes Guardiola' route.

Agree that Real are a joke of a club.

Re: RAFA about to be sacked!
Just shows the fickle nature of football management when one of the worlds richest and high profile clubs appoint a new manager with next to no experience based on the fact really that as a player he was possibly one of the best the game has seen and he played for them, im sure if it was a similar person whom had all the attributes of the best managers but was a low profile uncapped player in his day, they would go no were near them until they had achieved something in the game firstly in the lower leagues then progressed to bigger clubs, good luck to Zidane though, he’s going to need it there, if he fails and imo that’s only a matter of time with those knicker wetters, then we maybe wont see the manager he may have become had he taken the conventional route and learnt the business.

Real Madrid is a laughing stock IMO, in the same league (cuntishness wise) as Chelsea.

How anyone can employ this wanker beggars belief, a completely useless cunt who strolls around taking money from mugs

Re: RAFA about to be sacked!
Got to say, I can't think of a better season for some time for us. Yes we struggled with injuries and we got it badly wrong against spurs, but jut in terms of the displays, the new recruits shining, the old boys being reinvigorated, the brilliant shit that bilic comes out with, the sense of adventure about what's going on next season, the clear zest that the owners have for the club. Truly this is a good time to be alive and a west ham fan. I wished my old man was here to see it.

He'd probably start by being snookered about the fact that joeys carpentery warehouse where he worked for years is now luxury flats. In fact everything about Stratford would he totally alien to him.

I don't imagine he will be too surprised given Real's record. Nice payoff and will pop up somewhere else.

Looking forward to Zidane headbutting Ronaldo at the first opportunity.

Not just this Spanish Waiter, but were not Moyes and Monk both in the mix and ahead of Slav as preferred manager in the summer, all 3 now sacked for being shit.

Not just one bullet dodged but 3, some luck at last as these things usually bite us hard.

Maybe the curse has been lifted?????

Rafael Benitez has been sacked as manager of Real Madrid after just seven months in charge at the Bernabeu.

The 55-year-old Spaniard was relieved of his duties following a meeting of the club's board on Monday.

Frenchman Zidane, a former Real player and World Cup winner, said: "I am going to put my heart and soul into this job so that everything works out well."
